2012 Workshops

March 10 - Clay College: Noon to 4PM at the Brambleton Center. Registration required. This year's schedule will include mold making, carving & darting your pots, designing & planning your pots, throwing & trimming, painting on clay, pot display of various firing styles, Highwater Clay Store, Kiln Doctor and Guild member lending library.

April 20 & 21 - Ronan Peterson: Talk & slide show from 6-8PM on Friday and demo on Saturday from 10AM-4PM at the Brambleton Center. Registration required. Ronan will demo decoration on functional pots focusing on cone 6 reduction firing. (Ronan will hold a week long hands-on workshop at the Jacksonville Center beginning April 23.)

June 22 & 23 - Ellen Shanklin: Talk & slide show on Friday from 6-8PM and demo on Saturday from 10AM-4PM at the Brambleton Center. Registration required. This 16 Hands potter will demo her thrown and altered style of pots.

Future Workshops - Travelogue of Pottery, Pot Critiques, History of American Pottery and Mayco Glaze Company Workshop.
